Our Philosophy

DESIGN SERVICES

DESIGN CONSULTATION

This usually lasts about an hour and is charged hourly with a one hour minimum.  During this visit we will discuss all of the areas you want to work on, we can choose paint colors at this time or if you have finish samples at your home during the visit we can go over that as well.  This appointment is usually followed up with another appointment that typically last about an hour to go over the design plan to look at samples, furniture,  You are free to choose how you want to proceed from there. 

SPACE PLANNING

This service is for those who already have furniture and decor but need help placing it or rearranging.  This is an in-home visit charged hourly with a one hour minimum.  We can simply tell you where we would place things, or with your help we are happy to help move things around while we are there!

REMODEL/ADDITIONS/RENDERINGS

This service is for those who are finishing their basements, adding additions, or redoing their kitchens and need help with a layout.  We will go over your must haves and get a feel for the flow and function you are wanting to achieve.  3D renderings will be done to give you a visual that will help bring your project to life so you can be confident you are getting what you want.  These are not architectural drawings but usually suffice for the remodeler.  This is also billed hourly.

FULL ROOM DESIGN

This is a room-by-room service.  It starts with an in-home consultation to go over the areas you are working on.  A design plan consisting of a collage of products, links, finish selections, renderings if needed, and pricing will be emailed to you.  This is a service for those who would rather do it alone than work with a designer.  You will be given all you need to complete your design including contacts that you may need for painting, wallpaper, hanging, etc.  This is a flat fee per room.  

FINISH SELECTIONS

This is for those working with a builder or remodeler that need help with basic finish selections.  This can be exterior finishes or interior finishes such as cabinetry, paint, countertops, molding selections, etc.  This takes place at appropriate showrooms and is billed hourly.

NHC Interiors and Cabinetry is unique because we take the time to listen to our client's wants, not pressure them into our wants.  I have found clients get very stressed and sometimes give up when they feel they aren't being understood.  We take a laid-back approach to make the project fun and exciting, not stuffy.  We consider not only the aesthetics of a space, but also its functionality and the client's lifestyle. 

NHC Interiors and Cabinetry offers a wide selection of services that are customized to each client's needs.  From interior and exterior selections, to furnishings, decor, and space planning, we can help with all of your needs!

We want everyone to be able to afford a designer.  We keep our rates low and even if you only have room in your budget for a consultation, we will try to give you as much information as we can in that consultation so you can move forward with new insight.
